You ever been hanging out with your friends, whether it's around a campfire, maybe you're just having a few beers and you say, hey, you know, it'd be great if we went to the other side of the country and did an awesome rafting trip or canoeing trip. How do you go about that? Who plans it? Who's going to take on that responsibility?

Today I have with me, a marketer from Brooklyn, originally hailing from the Poconos of Pennsylvania.

She's a passionate traveler who seizes every opportunity to explore from buzzing city streets

to the most remote corners of the world.

Along the way, she's made it her mission

to get her friends and family to join her on these adventures. She can channel the planning

and organization skills that come with her day-to-day job into crafting a memorable trip. Hillary Pecirola,

Before we saw it, I just want to say thank you for the effort you put into this.

I want to let everybody know that Hillary was responsible for organizing the Bruno River trip that I've talked about quite a bit on the podcast.

And I had John Barker on.

Well, it was Hillary who actually organized that trip. So thank you very much for your effort

and including me on that trip, Hillary.

Yes, absolutely. Like you sort of so wonderfully introduced me. That's really, I'm so happy

to get people out on trips together. Friends of

friends, family of friends, strangers, right? I think, you know, especially if it's somewhere I've

already been and I just, you know, I want to get people in on it. So I was so glad you were able to

join us. And I think we're sort of of the same mindset. I spent over 20 years

as a volunteer with the Boy Scouts and any opportunity I was to lead up a trip and get some

kids and some of their parents out there for like a backpacking trip, a canoeing trip. I just thought

like, I am sharing something I love and feel that other people should have an opportunity to enjoy

and learn about. Yeah. And it's, I mean, like anything in life, you don't know until you know.
