Hoover Institution writing at Real Clerk Politics in recommendation of a new book by the

senior fellow at Free Press, Neely Bowles, a former New York Times reporter,

former San Francisco Chronicle reporter, now making the case surprisingly that cancel culture canceled her and she

better for it. Peter a very good evening to introduce us to Nellie Bull's the

author of this new book which I've searched for in my local bookstore.

Nellie Bowles is now a 30-something reporter at the Free Press,

which she co-founded with her wife, Barry Weiss.

Both of Nellie grew up in the elite progressive world

of San Francisco.

She graduated from Columbia University in 2010.

She went to work for the San Francisco Chronicle,

then got her dream job at the New York Times in 2017.

When she arrived, she was part of cancel culture in her book, she recounts participating in the cancellation.
