All right. So I'm, I've got a little bit of a heavy heart today.

I've been faking it through the show for a little bit.

So a radio friend and also, I would say a mentor, somebody I found very inspirational in radio.

Some of you guys that are a little bit older might know the name Bob Rivers.

He used to do parody songs back in the day, like Twisted Christmas.

He used to come out with albums, and it was really big in the 80s to do like these parody

songs.

And he was just the sweetest, nicest guy.

He had a syndicated radio show.

He was in Baltimore, Seattle.

But none of that is, it even matters.

Yeah, he's a Seattle radio icon.

Yeah, just a Hall of Famer also.

And just the nicest freaking guy.

And I remember being intimidated for a long time going to conventions because he was sort of in the radio class right before me.

Him and the Jeff and Jers out of San Diego, my mentor, Kid Craddick, were all sort of part of that

group that us younger, quote unquote, guys at the time we're looking up to.

And I was so intimidated to meet him for years and years and years.

And finally, when I had enough guts when we all went out to dinner one night, because these

guys used to take us all out the young guys out we're gonna show you the ropes man but in a really really cool way now

you do that now i try to do it right so um and that's kind of our pass it along in radio but from him
