| 0:39.8 | So I wanted to share with you a conversation I had with myself around the Socratic method |
| 0:44.8 | and why it's so important that we ask questions and that we stay in community around |
| 0:49.3 | what needs to happen next as well. That's just my thought. What do we need to do? Well, stay tuned. |

| 1:00.9 | He was convicted, 2,500 years ago, convicted and sentenced to death, his crime, his crime. |
| 1:09.1 | And I thought it was interesting. He was found guilty of corrupting |
| 1:13.2 | the minds of youth of Athens. And he was also found guilty of impiety, which is not believing in the |
| 1:19.5 | gods of the state because he was fostering the notion that perhaps these multiple gods, perhaps |
| 1:26.3 | the worship of multiple gods is not necessarily rooted in |
| 1:30.6 | anything sound or foundational. |
| 1:33.4 | Maybe it's not even correct. |
| 1:35.2 | In many ways, he and then later Plato were credited with this notion of one God. |
| 1:41.4 | And it was the thing that sent him to his death. He was convicted, sent us to death, |
| 1:46.7 | poisoned by hemlock. And I think about that today because truth, facts are problematic for a lot of |
| 1:52.7 | people. Truth, facts, problematic. And I was thinking about ways in which this family, our family, |
