Papa Bear, you've talked about hiking the Tahoe Rim Trail.

I read your book and loved it and I just need to know.

Will the Tahoe Rim Trail experience provide us with a sequel to the Long Trail?

No, it won't. That's a one and done my friend. No more hiking books. Yes, it was fun writing it. I love, almost reliving it is with every page I wrote. But yeah, that's a one and done. I've already started another

book and this next book is more where my writing passion is. I love backpacking, I love

the outdoors, but when it comes to writing, I love fiction and I love the kind of fiction that makes people think

makes us look ourselves in the mirror and ask questions I'm hoping that book will be

completed by the end of this year but no no sequels to to

switching gears. Pam from Bend Oregon writes this Papa Barrett I know your

feelings about gear reviews you don't see yourself as a gear expert, but

you've been doing this for a long time. I think it would be really nice if you can share

with us, and she puts in quotes your gear opinions Pam you're right I

probably should and look I don't have any problem with people that are doing gear

reviews I think they're very useful I've watched the videos on gear reviews. I think they're very useful. I've watched the videos on gear reviews. I just

think that we have to be careful. You know, sometimes we're being sold stuff.

They're just trying to sell us stuff.
