1:02.0 | So Jason, tell us a little bit about yourself, though, before we get started here about the hikes up in the Catskills. |
1:09.0 | Well, like you said, I'm Jay Pelton. |
1:15.0 | I grew up in Altamont and the Helderberg's. |
1:21.0 | Spend a lot of time in the woods as a kid. I used to Bushwhack to the Thatcher Park a lot from my dad's house. |
1:29.0 | It was like about a three mile round trip bushwhack. |
1:34.0 | But as a kid I spent, you know, living in a mountain I didn't have friends close by, you know, |
1:42.0 | very remote, so spent most of my time in the woods, |
1:48.5 | bushwhacking and just being in nature and I think that's, you know, how it stuck with me growing up and just loving out the outdoors and then hiking trails, you know, I moved up north for quite a while like |
2:05.8 | Skylerville area and I used to hike you, not around acts from up there and, but we moved here, you know, I got married. |
2:18.8 | I was 40. My wife is from Warsaw, Poland. |
