Maggie, the reason why I wanted to talk to you

talked about an article you recently had published in the track. You talked about there were some glitches in Far Out's app this year and then got into, I guess,

to real line or maybe we need to look at that a little closer. Let's start with

this I want to talk about the glitches that we're in the far out app

because it seems to be you know where this all this seems to be the foundation of this what were some of those glitches and how did they affect hikers?

So from the hikers I spoke to and general commentary in the industry and through the

Trek survey, it seemed like the glitches that Far Out was experiencing included logging people out of the app when they were out of service and

couldn't access service to get back in.

Errors with the map loading when they would zoom out.

And then I spoke to one hiker Riley who said that when he was on the PCT and he would turn his phone service on to search for service. He would take it out of airplane mode and bring it, you know, at the top of a pass or something to look for service.

And if he had far out open in the background, everything that he had preloaded in towns when he had service would disappear while the phone was roaming.

And so he said it took him a long time to figure out what exactly was going on and he communicated

with the far out customer service team at the time and said, hey, I think I realized at least what my glitch is.
