| 0:33.5 | You know, I think first you've got to realize you've got to take responsibility for your anger. |
| 0:39.2 | That it's so easy to say, how many times in counseling I've heard someone say, |
| 0:42.7 | they made me angry, they did this and I got angry. |
| 0:45.8 | Okay, you made a choice to get angry there. |
| 0:48.0 | Anger is a choice that we make. |
| 0:50.0 | And I think a lot of times we don't realize that. |
| 0:52.4 | I think a lot of times we get conditioned and it comes so quickly. |
| 0:56.1 | There's usually a warning signs before we get angry. |
| 0:59.0 | You know, the Bible says be angry and do not sin. |
| 1:02.1 | So, I mean, God knows we're going to get angry. |
| 1:04.7 | And I think sometimes we don't realize that God did give us all of our emotions. |
| 1:09.0 | But they're all there for a reason. |
| 1:10.4 | And anger, sure, that means there's something wrong. It is a red flag, but how do you handle the |
| 1:15.4 | anger? So I think the way you manage it first is you've got to take responsibility for your anger, |
| 1:19.9 | and then you can look at yourself and see, okay, why am I getting angry? We all usually have a |
| 1:24.8 | trigger. I had one guy that said he would get a hot spot in the back of his neck right before he would get angry. |
