Summary
Today I examine how our use of common idioms and proverbs denigrates animals and contributes to our violence against them — and offer some compassionate versions to replace the more violent ones.

| 1:20.1 | and it is quite daunting, and because it is daunting and so huge, I will actually break it up into |
| 1:25.6 | several parts and just continue doing it over the course of time. I've been threatening to do |

| 2:02.9 | animal-based idioms and proverbs, we commit violence against animals without even realizing it, |
| 2:09.6 | without even thinking about it, without even being aware of it. Or perhaps if we are aware, |
