| 0:58.0 | And mindfulness has to do with becoming aware of the present moment. |
| 1:05.0 | And this is more and more important these days because there are so many things pulling us outside out there to what's happening all around us. |
| 1:18.0 | Mindfulness brings you back to the present moment. |
| 1:22.0 | It helps to ground you and allow you to interiorize so that you're able to reflect on your interior life. |
| 1:34.0 | And when you begin to flow with this mindfulness, you become incredibly calm. |
| 1:43.0 | You realize that your peace is inward, not outward. |
| 1:51.0 | Even if things were going really well around you. |
| 1:54.0 | If you're not at peace within yourself, then there's no peace. |
| 2:01.0 | So peace always exists within you. |
| 2:05.0 | In today's episode, you're going to be guided as you use a powerful meditation technique. |
| 2:14.0 | And that is an affirmation. |
| 2:17.0 | Affirmations are positive statements you repeat with focus. |
| 2:24.0 | Not mindlessly, but rather with full awareness, with your full consciousness, you repeat a statement that's concise, it's simple. |
