I am honored to be sharing this New Year's Day meditation ceremony with you.

You are going to be guided in a special meditation ceremony where you usher in a brand new year.

And if you are a regular listener, you might notice that I've shared this same New Year's Day ritual with you in the past.

It is something I do and I share with friends.

In fact, I'm having a party where we do this New Year's Day ritual.

And I'm excited to share it with my friends and my family who's already used to this ritual.

You might want to share this ritual with your friends and family as well.

It's very simple to do.

It has a lot of symbolism in it and it's a great way to align yourself to something new, new beginnings.

And that is the theme for this week's meditation series.

You may want to pause this episode and collect a few things that will enrich your experience

as you do this New Year's Day ceremony.

And that is to collect four candles.

And you might also collect four items that are meaningful to you that help you to feel grounded.

And especially items that may represent what you want to bring into your life.

You may also gather four pieces of paper, even four strips of paper and something to write with.

You'll also need some matches.

So you can do this ceremony indoors or outdoors as always you want to make sure that you're safe any time you light a candle.

Using candles is not necessary.

You can simply use the objects that are meaningful to you or you can simply use the strips of paper.
