0:07.3	sharing a New Year's Eve meditation with you. As I record this, I am hosting a
0:14.8	Murder Mystery Party and we'll also have a New Year's Eve celebration
0:20.0	afterwards. I hope that whatever you choose to do to close out this year, you
0:27.1	will settle yourself down for even a few minutes and put a little closure on
0:33.0	this past year. And to do so, I'm going to guide you through a little New Year's
0:38.1	Eve closure ceremony. You don't necessarily need anything for this special
0:44.3	New Year's Eve ceremony except yourself and a comfortable safe space to
0:50.7	meditate. However, if you want to make this meditation more dynamic as you
0:57.4	celebrate New Year's Eve, I invite you to light a candle and to have a few
1:05.3	pieces or strips of paper, even one sheet of paper, and something to write with.
1:12.9	And you will write down what you'd like to release from this year. So you may
1:19.2	pause this episode right now and gather some thing to write with and some
1:25.7	paper and a candle. Otherwise, you may simply mentally think about what you'd
1:33.5	like to release without writing it down. And as the theme for this week is all
1:39.5	about cultivating inner joy, I invite you to reflect for a moment on what you feel
1:48.5	joyful about.
2:01.1	What could you do to infuse joy into your New Year?
2:09.7	And now think about what inhibits your joy. This may be something you want to
2:23.1	release. I invite you to light your candle to make yourself nice and
2:36.5	comfortable and reflect on what you'd like to release from this current year.
