It's an affirmation all about abundance, having an abundance mentality.

linings quest. In the interview, Nick talked about how when he's feeling stressed or anxious or

when it's one of those mornings where he's having a hard time getting up out of bed,

he likes to play this game where he goes on a silver linings quest where he looks for the silver

lining behind whatever challenge he's encountering. And this is such a powerful technique.

In fact, I encourage you every day to start your day thinking about maybe some of the challenging

difficult situations you might face and look for the silver lining.

Sometimes you might think that there is no way you could think of any kind of silver lining

in your particular situation. You might be surprised. You might not realize there's a silver

lining just yet be open to the possibility of a silver lining. When you talk to people who have

endured extenuating circumstances, they will tell you that often these circumstances were

defining points in their life that they are actually grateful for. I've met many people who say

that getting cancer was one of the best things that happened to them. I have a friend who recently

lost her 22-year-old vibrant daughter when she suffered an asthma attack. It was completely

unexpected and my friend has been such an example of grace during this situation. Her daughter
