guest Alice has the week off and I am joined by Lewis Noble. If you don't know Lewis he is a

contemporary painter and ceramicist.

He lives in Derbyshire, which is just a few hours south of where I am.

And he's been a professional artist for probably approaching 20 years now and he has exhibited widely.

He also in the world we used to live in, he was a frequent teacher of workshops around the country and he's now about to leap into online teaching for the first time which we will talk about. So hi Lewis, welcome.

As I told you, we always start the podcast with what we've been working on this week,

so tell us what you've been working on this week. So tell us what you've been working on.

Well, like you were saying in your intro there,

I've been doing quite a lot of work on my online workshop recently. I'm just sort of putting the finishing touches to it at the moment. So it's been taking up most of my time for the last few weeks, but it's really getting there. So I'm looking forward to cracking on with it. I've got plenty of people signed up to it so yeah should be good.

It's so much work isn't it? It's so much more work than you think it's going to be.

Well I thought it would be quite a lot of work. I think what's happened is as I've

you know got more into doing it it got to a point the more I was doing the more I realized I needed to do. So, yeah, but it's like anything that you do for the first time,

that it's a learning curve, isn't it?

But, you know, because I always knew the content was there.

It's how to deliver it in the best way for people to get the most out of it over a different medium because normally people ask me questions and I could just throw them straight back at them when they're standing in front of me.
