When I sent out an email about this to everybody on my VIP email list, probably about a month

What I shared in that email, just to kind of lay the foundation, is that I grew up in

a household where we didn't really talk about money.

We did in the sense that my mom told us how important it was to save and how you don't

want to spend more than you make and all of those kinds of things.

But we didn't talk about income.

I didn't have any sense of how much money my parents made.

Nor do I think that that particular detail is all that important.

However, I do believe that generally speaking, we all need to talk about money more.
