Last episode, we talked about how we mislabel thoughts in our brain. We say this is our reality. This is a fact. But really, it's just a prediction. And, you know, I talked about in last episode about how I recommend that you say, I predict something, something instead of saying

this is the way it is or it will happen, right? Saying I predict can really shake you loose

and get you to see that. Maybe perhaps you don't have to assume the worst

case scenario because it's a prediction, not a fact, and you could push back on predictions.

And I really like doing that episode, but it got me thinking a little bit more broadly about

our negative thoughts in general, specifically our worries, the things that we worry about.

says about our worries. Basically, are they useful? Are they helpful? Are they real? Are they valid?

Should we pay attention to our worries? Or maybe perhaps we shouldn't because maybe statistically

they don't rarely ever come true. Is there something there? Well, let's talk about that.

First, imagine a scenario where every morning you wake up and someone is there to greet you right outside your bedroom by handing

you a list of predictions for the day, a long list of predictions. Today, your boss is probably

going to disappoint you. Today, your partner is going to lose interest. Today, you're going to embarrass yourself in that meeting. Today, your boss is probably going to disappoint you. Today, your partner is
