Thank you for supporting me. And today I want to talk about yet another way to be more delusional in your life.

The healthy, effective, productive kind of delusional that lets you picture the future you want and to actually achieve it and attract it

and live within it. And it goes like this. So much of visualization, which is how we bring delusion

to life, so much is, of course, focused on what we want, the breakthrough moment, the reward

at the end of the hard work, and the way that you want to feel.

And that's great, of course. But there's a flip side to this. I have found the most productive

delusion. It's not about ignoring the roads you don't take, the chances you didn't take,

the mistakes you didn't make. It's not about ignoring those things. It's about, in effect, it's about being haunted by them in exactly the right

way. And I'll explain what that means, because there is a version of you, for instance, that took

the safe job right now, like in a parallel universe that exists in your mind or like in the

cosmos, there's a version of you who is sitting in a cubicle with, you know, good, good benefits,

good, you know, job, zero risk. That version of you is comfortable and stable, maybe a little bit

numb, but yeah, doing okay financially. That version of you chose certainty over possibility.

But every Sunday night, they look to the week ahead and they feel the weight of that choice.

There's also another version of you that gave up entirely. That's a version of you who stopped

believing that their delusional thoughts could ever become real.

They looked at all the obstacles.
