So today I want to talk about something called the Fresh Start Effect.

Now this is something that I learned about reading Katie Milkman's book.

I first talked about her book in yesterday's episode,

768. So her book, How to Change, she talks about this idea called the Fresh Start Effect.

And it is basically the, the, the, the, the, the, the tendency that we have to approach change in our lives and to honestly maybe even

do a little bit better at change in our lives when it's paired with specific moments in our lives that feel like a fresh start.

So think New Year's resolutions as a example.

So this is a real thing.

This is why every time this time of year

it feels like, oh, I should really do something different here.

I should really try to change my life or I should

build these habits or whatever it is right. This is a real thing. We're going to
