not necessarily about my circumstances, but about the larger question of progress.

What does progress mean? in reality what does progress look like?

Because I think one of my frustrations with personal development as a whole as it currently exists is that progress is painted as this one-size-fits-all brush.

And it's just not. We're all starting from different places. We're all starting with different handicaps. We're all starting

with different things that we need to address. And along that journey, we're going to experience

and gain new things that we need to address.

And to pretend that personal development means one thing that everyone can just do,

it's absurd. And so this is going to be one of those

episodes and I want to give you a quick warning before we truly get into it that I am

going to talk about depression. I am going to talk about

feeling low and feeling so down that you can't pull yourself out. I am going to share my personal experience and I'm probably going to get emotional.
