0:08.1	So as I've been doing, I've been interviewing people. So I went way back to get somebody from Early Magic.
0:14.0	So I wanted you guys to introduce you to Brian Weissman.
0:17.2	Hey, Mark. Hey, guys. How are you all doing?
0:19.6	So I thought it would be fun today to talk a little bit about early magic, since you and I both

0:27.1	So here's the question I've been asking all my guests, is how did you get into magic?
0:33.3	How did I get into magic?
0:34.6	All right, very simple answer.
0:36.1	In January, I believe I can actually trace my magic origins down to a single day
0:40.5	because it correlated to a friend of mine's birthday.
0:43.4	It was January 14th, 1994.

0:48.2	I was attending a friend's birthday party.
0:50.6	We had a bunch of activities planned during the day,
0:52.8	and one of my friends bought two unlimited
0:55.5	Starter X for my friend for his birthday.
0:58.3	I think he was turning 21.
1:01.1	And they opened up the Starter X, and the friend that brought the Starter X as a gift actually
1:05.8	brought some of his own cards.
1:07.3	So they kind of puzzled through the rules for about 15, 20 minutes. And then they played a
