Summary
Be guided in a meditation to manage negative thoughts. You'll repeat an affirmation to empower yourself. One of the benefits of meditation is self regulation. When you meditate you're able to better manage your response to stress. Throughout this week's series you'll learn how to use meditation techniques to manage stress triggers. This is part 2 of a 7-Part Benefits of Meditation Series, Episodes 723-729.
As always, you don't have to do the meditation techniques -- they are simply there to help you transition from your busy day to a state of stillness. The techniques also help to calm "monkey mind," when your thoughts continuously interrupt your meditation.
