Summary

Be guided in a meditation to honor wherever you are on your meditation journey. If sitting down to meditate isn't working out for you, it's perfectly okay to do something else that relaxes you as part of your meditation journey. Throughout this week's series you'll learn how to use meditation techniques to manage stress triggers. This is part 2 of a 7-Part Meditations for Stress Triggers, Episodes 716-722.

As always, you don't have to do the meditation techniques -- they are simply there to help you transition from your busy day to a state of stillness. The techniques also help to calm "monkey mind," when your thoughts continuously interrupt your meditation.

For free meditation tools to help you start meditating please head over to my website at www.SipandOm.com, and there you'll find a multitude of free resources to help you on your Meditation Journey. Sample from a selection of resources including:

0:26.2

using an affirmation technique. Now, I use an affirmation technique in each guided meditation

every Monday. So this is for a Monday's meditation.

0:40.2

And of course, each technique is always customized around our weekly theme.

0:46.1

Well, our theme this week is a little bit different from what I usually do.

0:50.5

And what I'm doing is I have a backlog of questions that I've been meaning to answer from listeners.

0:58.4

Some of them are really profound questions that I'm not able to answer in a quick email.

1:04.3

They take a little bit more explanation.

1:07.0

And so what I've done this week is I selected seven of the most commonly asked questions

1:16.1

that I received from listeners like you and other people who message me about meditation.

1:23.3

And I've customized a meditation to go along with each of those questions.

1:29.1

So seven questions, one for each day of the week, and a customized meditation,

1:35.7

including a meditation technique for each of those big stress triggers.

1:42.1

Most of these questions have to do with stress triggers.

1:46.0

So in today's episode, episode 717, I am sharing with you a question a listener asked me a few weeks ago on our private Facebook page.

2:00.2

Now I've mentioned this often. We do have a free

2:03.1

private Facebook group over at SIP and Ome.com. You can join it there on my website. If you go to any

2:11.0

of the podcast episodes, you'll see there in the resources a link to join the private Facebook group.

2:17.9

Now many people simply go to Sipinom's Facebook page and send me a message saying,

2:23.0

hey, please add me to the group, and I'm happy to do that.
