Summary
Be guided in a meditation to manage physical and mental exhaustion. When your mind and body feel out of sync, and you feel like you're burning both ends of the candle, you can do a simple visualization technique focusing on your breath to realign yourself. Throughout this week's series you'll learn how to do meditation techniques to manage stress triggers. This is part 1 of a 7-Part Meditations to Manage Stress Triggers, Episodes 716-722.
As always, you don't have to do the meditation techniques -- they are simply there to help you transition from your busy day to a state of stillness. The techniques also help to calm "monkey mind," when your thoughts continuously interrupt your meditation.

| 1:01.0 | So there are some pretty common stress triggers out there and I receive questions from listeners |
| 1:09.6 | every single day and I have a folder where I keep the questions |
| 1:14.4 | that come up again and again and so I decided to take this week to share my |
| 1:22.3 | responses to some of these questions sometimes people will ask me a question and I can quickly respond |
| 1:29.5 | in an email, but sometimes it takes a little more thought to respond to some of these |
| 1:36.0 | questions about stress triggers. And so I've been saving those for this particular meditation series. |
| 1:45.0 | So seven days, one for each day of this week, |
| 1:49.0 | you'll be guided in a meditation |
| 1:52.0 | using a customized meditation technique |
| 1:56.0 | that I've selected for you |
| 1:58.0 | to go along with a top stress trigger. And I'm pretty sure you're going to be able to |
| 2:04.2 | identify with many of these stress triggers. So if I haven't answered you in an email message |
| 2:12.6 | before, I really work hard to answer every email message I receive. |
| 2:18.3 | But if I haven't answered you, it may be because it's possible I didn't receive your message. |
| 2:26.3 | So if you have a message that you sent to me and I didn't answer you and you have a burning question, |
| 2:33.3 | please message me again and I'm sure answer you and you have a burning question, please message |
| 2:34.7 | me again and I'm sure that I'll get it this time. |
| 2:39.6 | Another reason that I may not have answered you is that your question was very involved |
