Summary
Be guided in a walking meditation to release negative thoughts. In this meditation you'll focus on the distractions in your environment. This may seem counterintuitive, however, when you *allow* distractions, research shows that you are able to put closure on them. Throughout this week's series you'll learn how to do meditation techniques to manage distracting thoughts. This is part 7 of a 7-Part Stop Distracting Thoughts Series, Episodes 703-709.
As always, you don't have to do the meditation techniques -- they are simply there to help you transition from your busy day to a state of stillness. The techniques also help to calm "monkey mind," when your thoughts continuously interrupt your meditation.
