Be guided in a meditation to start your day. You'll be guided with the option to do a mudra technique focused on your second chakra to become open and expansive as you greet your day. As always, you don't have to do the meditation techniques. They are simply an option to help you focus your mind. I offer you a challenge to create your own Happiness project this week. When you learn something new or create something for yourself, you will notice that you experience more happiness. All week long you will explore different meditation techniques to increase your happiness. This is part 5 of a 7-Part Meditation Series on Happiness Meditations, Episodes 639-645. In fact, I know that if you're new to meditation, it can take a little while to sit down

and start to feel stillness. So please be gentle with yourself if you're

finding that you're just having a hard time meditating because it feels like you're not sure

what you're supposed to be doing and you're not really feeling stillness or peace. You might

feel really nervous or anxious or

fidgety or your mind's wandering and that's also normal it takes practice just keep showing up

for yourself and know that you are connecting to the best part of who you are.

But it takes some time to get to know how this stillness feels.

And then once you kind of have an experience of that a few times, then you know.

And then you know, okay, this is what I want to be feeling.

And when you sit down to meditate, you're more easily able to go into that inner stillness.
