Summary

Be guided in a calm walking meditation. Begin to notice what makes you feel calm as you become fully present in your environment. You can do the meditation walking outside or if you must stay inside, you can easily do the meditation by visualizing yourself walking in a favorite location. This is part 7 of a 7-Part Meditations on Calm, Episodes 583-589. As always, you don't have to do the meditation techniques -- they are simply there to help you transition from your busy day to a state of stillness. And in today's meditation, you're going to be guided in a walking meditation, a calm walking meditation. Every Saturday I leave a walking

meditation for you. I encourage you to go outside as often as possible and meditate, sitting

right on the ground, connecting to the earth. Well, on Saturdays, I like for you to get out and connect with your environment as you walk.

So many days, you're walking from point A to point B without really taking in the beauty of your surroundings. And when you take some time to really acknowledge what

you're walking by and acknowledge the place you're in as you walk, it's an amazing experience.

You feel very interconnected with your surroundings when you do this.

While I'm recording this meditation in a beautiful natural location, I am in Arizona skiing.

And you might not think of Arizona as being a place to ski, but there is a ski mountain here where I am in Flagstaff, Arizona.

And we are skiing here.

We had some great snowfall over the weekend, so we drove up from Phoenix, and we are skiing. So it's a little bit different from Florida where I

live where I'm normally recording meditations. It's really cold and icy and snowy out.

But it's so beautiful to see the snow in the mountains on all the pine trees.

So wherever you are, really take in the natural beauty of your area.

Whether you're in a natural area or in a city, there's still beauty to be found wherever you are.

We'll begin this walking meditation the same way we begin all of the meditations.
