Hey guys, welcome to episode number 559 of the Industrial Strength Show.

Joining me here today is former DeFranco's gym client, turned DeFranco's gym trainer, turned NFL strength and conditioning coach, Cam Joss.

Now, for you newer listeners who maybe aren't as familiar with my relationship with

Cam and our history, I'll give you the quick backstory because Cam is not on social media.

So he's he's tough to find or you won't find them pretty much online.

So I'll give you the quick backstory now.

Cam started training at DeFranco's gym when he was in high school.

He paid for his own training, worked at Dunkin' Donuts in order to be able to afford the training.

So super hardworking kid, very dedicated, worked his ass off and just saw incredible results training with us during his high school years,

ended up playing college football at the University of Rhode Island, where he continued training with me during

the summer and whenever he would come back to New Jersey, all while being very interested

in personal training and strength and conditioning, studying exercise science in college.

And when he graduated, was looking for a job in the field.

I gave him a job at the gym as a trainer.

And then the opportunity came along where we partnered with Onit.

And we had DeFranco's gym at the Onit Academy in Austin, Texas, which Cam went and ran that facility for two years in Texas before coming back to New Jersey and running my private gym for a couple years.

But ultimately, he did want to get in the collegiate setting and professional strength and conditioning

setting with a pro team.

And the opportunity came along during his time at DeFrancos.

He got an offer to become a strength and conditioning coach at Indiana University, which I was super happy for him.

He went.

And then from there, got an opportunity to go to Auburn University in the SEC, which was the last time Cam was on this podcast.
