Welcome to the Daily Meditation Podcast. I'm Mary Meckley and I'm so honored to be sharing this meditation with you today as always.

And today is episode 554 and we continue with our final episode in the Faith Meditation series.

For seven days we've explored different aspects of faith and we've learned a different meditation technique that you can do to help you cultivate more

faith.

And we've been doing a lot of reflection because, as I mentioned in yesterday's meditation,

faith really isn't about following a set of guidelines or doing research. Many of the meditation series that I share

with you each week, before I customize the meditations and sit down and create techniques

to go with each meditation, I do some research, I read about it, and I practice the techniques to see how they feel when you actually do them.

And with the faith meditation series, what I found is that I really couldn't research this.

It's not as though this is a meditation series about how to believe in yourself or how to have more confidence or how to be more productive or how to be calm or relax your body.

Those kinds of qualities, there are even scientifically studied examples I can give that really can help you out.

It helps you to understand, oh, okay, I'm pulling from this part of my brain,

and if I do this breathing technique, it helps to actually create a physiological response

to relax my body, which in turn calms my mind or so

forth. That's just an example. But with faith, what I discovered is that faith has to do

with you being completely authentic with yourself.

So faith is something that has to be done by you and you alone.

So in today's guided walking meditation, I'm going to guide you in a way that you're able to tap into your

inner most beliefs and faith in yourself and in your surroundings and in other

people who are in your life so go ahead and we'll start this meditation the same way we start every single meditation,

whether we're seated, walking, lying down, standing, and that is with you taking a moment
