And today's meditation is going to take you through a chakra technique. Now you don't have to do

But I encourage you to explore different meditation techniques because you never know what may work for you.

Chakras are simply energy centers throughout your body where you harbor your emotions and the ancient yogis thought

that it made sense that if you have a physical spine to support your body with different

organs representing your different bodily functions that it made sense that there must be a system within us that harbored our

emotions and our memories. And so they came up with the chakras and different emotions are

associated with different organs and the chakras become really like a roadmap to your inner

wisdom. They're one of my very favorite ways to connect with myself throughout the day. When I think

about how I'm responding to a certain situation, I'll think about,

okay, what chakra is that coming from and different chakras have more supportive and then

not so supportive aspects. And so I'll think, well, I'm kind of exhibiting this aspect that's not

very supportive to me. So let me go over here to the supportive aspect of the chakra and

start pulling from that or focusing on that. And it really helps me a lot. Now, I'll be offering

a program on chakras in the coming year. I'm
