Hello everyone and welcome to the podcast. My guest today is Mari. She wakes up in the morning and she has the thought, God is mad at me.

It runs so deeply in her and she wakes up in this beautiful white bed. She puts one of her feet on the floor

and she puts her hand together in a prayer position

and has the thought, I should be grateful.

Then she has the thought I didn't do it right.

The overriding thought she's holding and is so fearful of and sure of is God is mad at me.

Hello dears, hello hello dears.

Why am I so happy?

Why do I feel so good?

It must be the absence of suffering.

How could that be? How could that be? How does the absence of suffering come about? How does it come about? From experience I have

come to realize that there is suffering in the world.

And the cause of this suffering is what I'm thinking and believing in any given moment. Now what I'm thinking and believing is not my fault.

It's a happening, mind happens.

The ego just pops in, it's, I want, I need you, should, I shouldn't,

da da da da da da da.

I don't want to, it's not fair. The ego, I mean try to stop your thoughts right now.

Good luck with that. Stop it. We do everything in the world to try to stop it. We all know the cause of our suffering is what we're thinking and believing.

It's maybe for some of us it just hasn't been put into words.

The ego doesn't want us to see that. Its life depends on you're not seeing that.

So I've come to understand the cause of all, all my suffering is what I'm thinking and believing in any given moment, and I'm not doing it on purpose. Mind happens, but then there's attachment.
