Summary

Be guided in a mediation using a breathing technique to calm your mind and body so you can release negative emotions. You'll discover a mindset to help you focus on being positive when you are with those who harm you. My challenge to you is to do the breathing technique just before or after an encounter with a negative person or situation. Notice how much more confident you feel. The tendency is to retreat and feel small when others harm you. Pick one quality that stands out about you and commit to sharing it this week. Commit to starting your day each morning visualizing yourself improving this area of your life. This is part 3 of a 7-Part Meditations to Overcome Negative People, Episodes 520-526. As always, you don't have to do the meditation techniques -- they are simply there to help you transition from your busy day to a state of stillness. The techniques also help to calm "monkey mind," when your thoughts continuously interrupt your meditation.
