Summary

This might be my favorite objection to help coaches with and if you've been unable to close calls for this reason or you are getting ghosted after a call, this is one to save and come back to multiple times. In this episode, I am on a call with a Legacy sales team student going over how to handle the "let me talk to my husband" objection but this strategy works with any intimate partner and it's a win-win-win for everyone involved.

Hey, what's up guys? Welcome back to the fitness podcast. So for today's episode, I actually have a sample of a call recording for you. And so sometimes this is where the gold comes out when I'm actually doing live coaching. So on this call, I was actually on the phone with an IFCA student and a higher level student and their sales team because they have,

0:22.3

you know, closers and setters. They're this, this particular company, I think they do about

0:26.1

three million, four million a year. So it's not a one man show anymore. Um, so they have, you know,

0:31.4

other team members taking the call. So I was, I was, uh, helping them through just a sales call,

0:37.2

did a full call review. Um there's this one eight-minute

0:40.6

clip that I decided to pull out and share with you guys all around how to handle spousal objections.

0:46.6

So I will, I'll dive into the clip. Please excuse the audio quality. And this is one too, where it's

0:53.4

eight minutes of me just talking and going.

0:56.9

And you're not going to memorize it. But I do suggest that you, if you're listening to it now in

1:02.2

the shower, in the car, whatever, I suggest that you listen back at a place where you can stop

1:07.3

and you can take notes and you can pause and you can write down. And then you can reference these things when you're actually on the phone with people. Because I

1:14.3

love spousal objections because really there's only three types of objections that you can get.

1:20.7

It's themselves oftentimes, right? They're the objection. It's money or it's somebody else. Usually one of those three. So when it's spouse, it's like, okay, that's very easy to work through because oftentimes it's a smoke screen for like they don't believe in it. And so you're asking questions to uncover that. And it's just usually a really easy one to move through. I know it can feel challenging for a lot of people because we think, well, you know,

1:45.0

I would ask my spouse.

1:46.4

But yeah, we're not not asking them to ask their spouse.

1:49.0

This is the thing.

1:49.5

There's an art and a magic to a way to handle spousal objections in a way that makes

1:55.5

people feel really comfortable with still moving forward and saying yes.

1:58.6

And you have multiple options and multiple different ways it can go. And it broke them all down in this episode. So please

2:04.6

enjoy. So how did this end up? Did you guys end up getting back on the phone? She's fucking

2:10.9

ghosting. No, she ghosted me. Yeah, that's what happens when we get the spouse's objection.

2:18.3

Not always. But, well, first off, I would always schedule the follow-up call on the phone.
