This is John Batchel, a conversation with colleague General Blaine Holt,

United States Air Force, retired, about the size of the fleet and the operation with Air Force element

based out of Roosevelt Roads, looking at Venezuela and the unacceptable Maduro dictator in Caracas.

Blaine here entertains the fact that what we're seeing,

the fleet, the air, power, the possibility of a brigade being airlifted in, the garrisoning in the country, overwhelming force, risking perhaps a setback like Bay of Pigs or the disruptions that happen in the Panama

operation. All of that is not what is going to be planned to happen. It's something else.

And Blaine doesn't mention it, but there is merit to the idea that that fleet is a distraction

to the regime who thinks they know what's coming.

There's something else.

What? We don't know.

Fulness of time.

History is filled with surprises, which is why it's much less predictable than fiction.

This is Blaine Holt on what we don't know about the Venezuela operation. More of this

tonight. I think those are enough. The historical events you're talking about also could lend

credence to actually helping us in a limited series of indirect operations that we want to do.

So under the cover of our history, which the Venezuelans and the cartels might try to predict

a Bay of Pigs type of salt force, maybe a massive 12-ship air drop with a brigade that's going to come

sack the leader, and they're trying to predict that through our history.

I don't think President Trump in any way, shape, or form would accept a wash, rinse,

repeat plan, if you will. I think he would use those historical events on his side to go in a

completely different direction. And it could well be that the pointy edge of the spear that they're

looking at right now is not the thing that's going to get them. And that's where I think we're going.
