all right welcome to episode 481 hello my friend welcome to a fresh new episode of

new mindset who this as always thank you so much for listening thank you for

supporting me and today I want to talk about what I think is the worst mistake

we can make in dating and relationships anything emotionally charged between

two people and this comes from my own experience of course as well as years of

applying a mindfulness lens to love and just trying to break down the actions we

take or don't take that is trying to get to the true why behind things like

putting up with mixed signals hoping someone will change sticking it out in a

one-sided relationship and so on and so on why at the most granular lowest

level possible do we do those things and there are of course many reasons why a

lot of which come from some form of conditioning a great thing for you and

your therapist to unpack but broader than that there is one why that I come back

to time and time again then I think underpants a lot of the negative one-sided

things we put up with in a relationship that if we realized why we were doing

it we'd be quick to stop and that is as follows in the pursuit of love in the

pursuit of connection we confuse betrayal for sacrifice those are the two words

I'm going to circle with this episode betrayal and sacrifice that is self-betrayal

and sacrifice we end up in one-sided relationships we end up in relationships
