Hey guys, welcome to episode number 395 of the Industrial Strength Show. This is the

Thanksgiving Day edition of the podcast. And I would say very, very timely and very

appropriate show we got for you here today because speaking of Thanksgiving, which

is and should be all about being thankful, right, being grateful for the things we have. And also,

it should be about giving. I feel like those two things are what today's episode is all about.

First off, as you probably saw from the title of this week's show, we have the return of

George DeFranco, my dad, after a three year hiatus, actually both my parents, I believe, are

on their way to my house right now. Many times I record the intro after the show is recorded. But

today, this show, I'm actually recording the intro first. And I'm just, my dad promised he was

going to show up. He agreed to do the show. Like I said, after a three year hiatus, I believe my mom

is with him. They should be arriving any minute. And so I don't know specifically where the show

will go. What specifically we'll be talking about. But I'm just grateful that they are feeling

well enough. And Poppy gave me the green light after asking for three years. He gave me the green

light to come back on the show. It's been a rough, rough couple of years since you heard from my

parents last, as I mentioned, on a few episodes. Unfortunately, my dad was diagnosed with prostate

cancer. And it was about a year ago at this time. So going through all that, but and still going

through it. But thankful got through the radiation. Very grateful that he's done with the radiation.

And prostate cancer free as of right now. Still got a ways to go. I'm sure we will talk about the

the hormone therapy and some of the things he's still doing. Certainly not easy. But from where we were,

you know, last year or a few months ago. Very, very grateful to have him and my mom back on the show.

So like I said, fitting that today will be a also just happens to be the Thanksgiving day episode.

So looking forward, we'll see where this conversation goes. You never know what my dad. But we'll get
