| 0:00.0 | Hey guys, welcome to episode number 395 of the Industrial Strength Show. This is the |
| 0:07.2 | Thanksgiving Day edition of the podcast. And I would say very, very timely and very |
| 0:17.6 | appropriate show we got for you here today because speaking of Thanksgiving, which |
| 0:23.9 | is and should be all about being thankful, right, being grateful for the things we have. And also, |
| 0:35.3 | it should be about giving. I feel like those two things are what today's episode is all about. |
| 0:43.7 | First off, as you probably saw from the title of this week's show, we have the return of |
| 0:54.1 | George DeFranco, my dad, after a three year hiatus, actually both my parents, I believe, are |
| 1:03.1 | on their way to my house right now. Many times I record the intro after the show is recorded. But |
| 1:10.3 | today, this show, I'm actually recording the intro first. And I'm just, my dad promised he was |
| 1:18.8 | going to show up. He agreed to do the show. Like I said, after a three year hiatus, I believe my mom |

| 1:31.6 | will go. What specifically we'll be talking about. But I'm just grateful that they are feeling |
| 1:37.6 | well enough. And Poppy gave me the green light after asking for three years. He gave me the green |
| 1:46.5 | light to come back on the show. It's been a rough, rough couple of years since you heard from my |
| 1:53.2 | parents last, as I mentioned, on a few episodes. Unfortunately, my dad was diagnosed with prostate |
| 2:00.8 | cancer. And it was about a year ago at this time. So going through all that, but and still going |
| 2:08.3 | through it. But thankful got through the radiation. Very grateful that he's done with the radiation. |
| 2:14.3 | And prostate cancer free as of right now. Still got a ways to go. I'm sure we will talk about the |
| 2:22.7 | the hormone therapy and some of the things he's still doing. Certainly not easy. But from where we were, |
| 2:31.9 | you know, last year or a few months ago. Very, very grateful to have him and my mom back on the show. |
| 2:40.4 | So like I said, fitting that today will be a also just happens to be the Thanksgiving day episode. |
| 2:49.6 | So looking forward, we'll see where this conversation goes. You never know what my dad. But we'll get |
