Summary

You asked for it Cine-Files! In last year's listeners survey we asked which movie from the early days of the podcast did you want us to redo in our more in depth format. The answer wasn't even close, Martin Scorsese's gangster classic, Goodfellas. When we did this the first time, way back in 2016, the entire episode was just over one hour. This time part one is almost two hours.

Needless to say this is going to be several parts and we couldn't be more excited.

1:01.0	because the whole way we looked at film when we started the cinnophiles was totally different because then we just watched the movie and then we talked about the movie.
1:09.0	And now it's like, no, we study the movie and research and break down and really look into things and man
1:16.0	I do not I am not saying that complicated stories lots of dialogue complicated camera moves is what makes a great film.
1:25.0	But there could be a very, very simple story that's very simply done that could be one of the
1:29.5	greatest films ever. But there is so much stuff going on in this movie that we did not address the first
1:36.2	time because our first time we did Goodfellas, our episode was one hour and 19 minutes long.
