A Bob here, welcome back to the show, episode 330, today we're going to talk about vision.

And I want to share with you why I believe most people struggle with the idea of having a vision.

And so a vision is just long term clear mental picture of what we want in our business and in

our life, right? And the difference between a dream and a vision is a dream doesn't have clarity.

It's not specific. It's just kind of a it's a hope. It's a good feeling that things are going

to get better, but a vision is a really clear specific definition of what do I want?

And I want to actually share with you today a coaching a recording of a coaching session that I

did with one of our clients Ann Marie. Ann Marie has a bit of a dubious distinction in that this

will be the second time that she'll be making an appearance on the podcast. I don't think we've

had many people that I can say that with and I joked with her and I said we're going to need to

actually have you on the podcast at some point, but I wanted to share this coaching session that

I did with Ann Marie because I think it is the perfect example of an a simple exercise of how

every single one of you can start to identify a vision for your business and your life that truly

inspires you. So here's where I think most people go wrong when it comes to vision. We think

long-term and we just think about the things that we can get from our business. When it comes

to vision, we're taught to focus on the achievements, right? Like the transactional definition of success,

which is a certain rank or a certain amount of money or different material possessions and

there's nothing wrong with that. And I would advise that those things should be a component of
