Today we are going to talk about everything that we wish we would have known as we entered school age parenting. And I think the thing is, is that before they hit school age,

life is very, very busy and very demanding. And so, of course, you're thinking about school,

but I don't know if you prepare for it mentally and understand everything that's about to happen to

you. We're just trying to keep up with life at that point. Right. Exactly. Forward thinking is not

part of that part of life. You're just trying to survive. And we get it. We were there.

And, you know, in this episode, we will talk a little bit about the X's and O's and extra paperwork and stuff, but more at the heart of it is going to be these really big things that our kids go through that we think we should give some thought to. So the one that we're actually going to start out with is friendships. And it's really interesting because now, at least at our school district,

it's kindergarten through fourth grade is elementary school. And so, you know, a kindergartener

really comes in as a really pretty small person

that is going to learn so much. And then there's a fourth grader where we have found that
