Grew up in Towson, Maryland, right outside of Baltimore City, ended up, you know,

starting playing soccer when I was three years old and then really playing competitively

when I was six or seven.

And I got the opportunity to play at Duke for four years.

Unfortunately, I got injured right before my senior season, so I had to

redshirt that year, but gave me the opportunity to then get a master's degree at Arizona State

and integrate health care and play there as well. I was trying to go pro, but unfortunately

had another surgery that ended up being career ending for me in the soccer realm

and that kind of steered me back towards medicine. That's unbelievable. So when you were growing up,
