What's up, guys? Today on the show, we're talking to Denver Summit defender, Ava Gaietino.

After a great college career at Notre Dame, Ava spent time in France playing for PSG,

where she became the youngest American to score in the Champions League knockout round.

Now she's back in the States suiting up for end-o-sell expansion side, Denver Summit.

We're talking to Ava about adapting to a new

team and the altitude, making her U.S. women's national team debut and why it's important to

play for the younger version of yourself who fell in love with the game. Enjoy. Thank you so much for

coming back on. So much has happened since we last spoke, I feel like. Yeah, well, thank you so much

for having me.

And yeah, absolutely. So last we spoke to you a few years ago, you were just leaving Notre Dame,

you were beginning your pro career at PSJ, and now you're in Denver for their inaugural season,

which is so exciting. So can you tell us what's been going on? I mean, it's such a whirlwind,

like what's been happening with you?

Yeah, I mean, so much.

I feel like I've just been going, going, going.

It was definitely a tough decision and a decision that I thought about for a long time.

But I had returned to PSG in January at the beginning of their, like the second

half of their season. And then from there, I came out to Denver. We did preseason in Santa

Barbara. So I've just been in every single time zone, it feels like, bumping around on so many

flights, but finally getting

settled here and it's just been so great so far how does denver have any significance like when like

did you spend time they're growing up or like anything like that no it's literally my first time here

...
