Hey there, are you joining me for our Reclaim Conference on October 4th and 5th in Ohio?

I'd really love to see you there as we gather to learn together, encourage one another,

and really reclaim the truth about God's design for sexuality.

As we're getting closer to the conference, we're starting to get some emails that just

have general questions attached to them.

And here's one of the questions I'll share with you today.

Dear Julie, I have a friend who is a struggling Christian and currently entangled in poor sexual

choices.

I'm not actually sure how she would receive the teaching.

Should I invite her to reclaim?

Well, that's a good question. Just to give you some things to think through, first of all,

anyone who comes to the conference should know that we're going to be tackling sexuality from a

Christian perspective. And even some non-Christians are okay with that as long as they know that this is the perspective that we're coming from.

They might even be curious.

They may be seeking truth.

So anyone that comes should have that knowledge that we're going to be talking about what the Bible says about sexuality.

But your friend should also know that this is not about shaming or making people feel badly about their choices.

In fact, a real message at the conference is that we all are sexually broken.

All of us have areas of our lives that God just needs to be redeeming and bringing healing into.

And it's not about picking out particular people that are living in sin, but really a call

for all of us to know and to seek to walk towards God's design for sexuality.
