Summary
On today’s episode I talk about my favorite statement and one I try and live by all the time. How to become someone who is adaptable and resilient to change and loss and how to gain so much more along the way. I will talk about how to become someone who takes control of the changes in their life, instead of leading a life where you are only reactive to the things that happen to you and end up feeling powerless to external situations.

| 0:09.7 | a lot of my, you know, life adventures, mainly the one where I bought that one way ticket to Paris |
| 0:15.1 | good times in like the depth of my heartbreak. But the topic of today's episode is all about chasing change and not letting |
| 0:23.1 | change chase you. So I'll give you a quick little personal anecdote once we get into the topic |
| 0:27.1 | of today's episode. But it's basically all around how to become someone who's more around |
| 0:32.6 | taking action, even when things are good, taking those risks, those calculated risks and moving through and being |
| 0:39.7 | okay with saying goodbye to certain aspects of your life and hello to brand new aspects of your life |
| 0:44.4 | versus being someone who's too scared to make a change because you're scared that you're going to |
| 0:48.7 | incur a loss here and there. But then because of that, you don't end up ever going for those |
| 0:53.7 | things and those new experiences and those ever going for those things and those new |
| 0:54.5 | experiences and those new relationships and those adventures and those risks and all of that. |
| 1:00.1 | And then the only time you change is when you're forced into change. Like you get fired, |
| 1:05.7 | you get made redundant or everyone in your workplace becomes such an asshole that you have to leave |
| 1:10.3 | or your landlord puts the rent up so you have to leave or your landlord puts |
| 1:11.8 | the rent up so you have to move or you know you don't want to be a person there are certain times in |
| 1:16.6 | your life where you absolutely cannot avoid change occurring in a place you didn't want it to occur |
| 1:20.6 | and having to adapt that's unavoidable but you don't want to be a person that that's the only change |
| 1:25.4 | you ever make because then you're going to feel like you're kind of a victim to your circumstances instead of feeling like there's a lot of what you do |
| 1:31.7 | that is actually in your control if you become a person who's a bit more willing to chase the change |
| 1:36.7 | in their life. So that is the episode today and I'm going to be really getting into how you can |
| 1:43.2 | become someone who can chase change. I'm going to reframe how you how you can become someone who can taste change. |
