The job of a movie is to entertain, and good movies certainly deliver on that, but great

movies.

Often go beyond simple entertainment, great movies stick with you long after you've left

the theater.

They can help you see the world from a different perspective or think about your life in a new

way.

Moneyball is a really entertaining sports film with an interesting cast of characters, great

conflicts, and of course thrilling moments when everything comes down to a single pitch,

and the chance to break one of baseball's most unbreakable records.

However, for me, what makes Moneyball a great movie aren't the moments with the team

out on the field, although those are beautifully done.

It's the ideas which I find unexpectedly challenging and applicable to everything from

economics and politics to my own life goals.
