0:38.2	So it's no secret that I have what people would generally probably call progressive or
0:44.8	leftist, which are not the same thing, but you could categorize my politics in a lot of
0:48.6	different ways anywhere from mainstream progressive to radical leftists somewhere in between
0:53.7	depending on your definitions but that kind of political belief set is
0:59.2	not a prerequisite obviously for thought work because the whole point of
1:02.3	thought work isn't we don't have
1:03.6	objective claims to truth and solid prerequisite for using this work even the way that I
1:08.6	teach it and so today I really wanted to have this conversation with two of my students who grew up with or
1:16.3	currently identify as more politically conservative than I am who nevertheless went through
1:21.5	the advanced certification and
1:22.8	feminist coaching and to talk about their experiences both with sort of
1:28.2	the evolution of their thoughts and beliefs and feminism in general and also their experience kind of
1:34.3	bringing those belief systems or histories of being raised to think a certain way
1:38.9	into conversation with the advanced feminist work that I teach, this kind of
1:46.8	social justice lens on thought work, all of these things. So I think it's a
