Yeah, thought crimes. So, uh, I did some secret recordings with Finn. That was, that was cute as a button, by the way. |
| 0:37.8 | Yeah. |
| 0:39.7 | I'm maybe biased, but it was pretty cute. |

| 0:52.0 | They may take our lives, but they'll never take our freedom. |
| 1:00.2 | Yeah, so yesterday I was, I took a little bit of a road trip, Ashley. |
| 1:08.6 | I had to have a business meeting and we have a choice of, you know, we can drive to a few different cities, but the one that's probably like the biggest and most nearest |
| 1:13.1 | by is Inverness, either Inverness or Aberdeen, right? Yes. And so I went to Inverness. |
| 1:17.6 | Anywhere's a drive. So, pick one. Well, I was thinking about this. So there's a couple things. |
| 1:22.7 | First of all, yesterday I was driving. We have a car. It's not a new, new car. It's a 2018, right? Right. |
| 1:30.9 | And so I'm driving down the road. And as you know, Ashley, on the quote unquote highways in Northern Scotland, we go from 60 miles an hour to sometimes it goes up to 70, then it goes back down to 60, then it goes down to 60. Then it goes down to 20 miles an hour. I'm not exactly sure why some of these towns feel like they can drop the highway down to 20 miles an hour, but they do it. And, you know, you have these zones where it changes, and the way they do it in the UK is a little bit different, or at least the part of the UK we're in. We don't always like see it right away, you know, when the speed limit changes. But on the car, because we have a little display, I have car play on the car, which has been around since at least 2018. It'll tell me, like through Google Maps, what the current speed limit is, as far as it knows, right? Right. And then it got me thinking, because I would check that. That's how I'd, oh, shit, I should be going much slower. I'm on a road trip. I'm setting my cruise control. Why can't, in a modern car, why can't I set a cruise control that is just go the current speed limit? That's it. So I don't have to pay attention to when it changes and all that stuff. I mean, I guess that's probably the kind of thing that's coming up and it might be, it probably |
| 2:38.9 | exists on like some models of cars somewhere. Maybe you should get a newer fucking car, Bernie. |
| 2:43.8 | But it's, I don't know that I want that quite yet. Maybe the technology has moved on since I experienced this. But one of the first cars that I remember reading speed limit signs was when we would drive the Tesla, right? And it wasn't using Google Maps. It was actually looking and using cameras. Right. And it would read the speed limit sign. And so it would say, oh, it's the speed here. But there's an odd thing in Texas, which is where we were driving it, where you'd be on, say, the freeway, the speed limit is 65. And then next to the freeway, there's a feeder road. And maybe the speed limit there is 40 or 45, whatever. And sometimes the car would see the feeder road's speed limit sign read it and think that I should be |
| 3:26.5 | going 45 and I had to constantly correct it going no ignore that that's not where you should be |
