I wonder how many people know that you can actually just file an extension in the U.S. for taxes.

I mean, like, ah, about October. Well, I mean, I think in a very nebulous way, sure, but it is

shockingly easy to actually do. I've never filed an extension because I knew that you could do it,

but I thought you had to prove some crazy extenuating circumstances. I didn't know you could just go, I need more time. And they would go, okay. I don't know if you could file one and then like turn into a 1040 EZ though in October. I don't think that works out. Well, okay, well, that's what I would have been doing.
