Hi, this is Steve. There are some films that are hard to watch. Heavy dramas you have to steal yourself for,

experimental films that take all your concentration, or movies that you're interested for historical

or intellectual reasons rather than entertainment.

Die Hard is not one of those films.

In fact, it's as watchable and entertaining today as it was when it premiered almost 30 years

ago. The characters are smart,

interesting, and clearly defined with great performances from Bruce Willis, the

amazing Alan Rickman, and a great cast of supporting actors. John McTearnan's direction, along with the camera work of Yondabant,

is inventive, fast-paced, and continuously engaging.

Die-hard fundamentally changed the movie industry and paved the way for the action boom of the 90s and beyond.

It's available for rental on iTunes and Amazon, and there's a pretty good Blu-ray available as well.
