Hey guys, this is Joy. And this is Claire. And we're recording way ahead of time. It's May 1st, very excited that we get to record on our favorite day of the year. I don't know. It's April 30th of favorite day because then it's going to be May or is. I know. That's true. It is May. It's very exciting to see all the May in sync. Lance Bass. It's never going to die. Never going to die. Very happy. We have sunshine outside. We have really fun trips to look forward to as we're doing this recording. So we're recording this one a couple of weeks in advance, but we just started talking about

allergies and how when sometimes, you know, Claire has really bad allergies right now. I've been

seizing a lot. I don't have like horrible allergies, but to the point where I'm sneezing a lot,

we were just talking about like, when you sneeze so much that you just start getting mad when

you're like, howchoo! That is enough.

When I was a raft guide, so I am super allergic to trees.

That's like my number one allergy category.

And so this time of year, I get just pummeled.

And it's primarily sinus, like just a lot of congestion and sneezing.

When I was growing up, my eyes got terrible.

I have so many memories of being like.

I feel like the eye itching is probably horrible.

You can't do anything about it.

I remember being like in second grade and laying in my bed and my mom bringing me like a cold washcloth to lay over my face to try to get to sleep because I

just like could not stop rubbing my eyes because they itched so bad. And like, you know,

when you're eight, you're not going to be putting eye drops in probably, although I probably

would have. But that was even before like vizine. You know, everyone, um, is it, was it vizine?

What was the, the Ben, the Ben Stein eyedrop campaign? Oh, yeah. For dry, red eyes. Yeah. Clear eyes. Yeah. This is like, clear eyes. This is before that came out. That, those came out in like the mid-90s. Anyway. Wow, that's a good throwback. Ben Stein clear eyes. For dry red eyes. Very effective. Yeah, it really stuck in my brain. Also because I was like, please give this to me. When I was a raft guide in Moab, the tree allergies there were horrible for me. And I don't know if it's just because it's like really also quite dry.

And in the spring, it's extremely windy. But I would wake up and sneeze so much that finally I was

living in a guide house, like a bunk house basically with all the rest of the raft guides, which is like a fun

thing about being a raft guide. They're like housing included. If you don't mind sharing a room with eight

other disgusting stinky people.
