It's May 4th, to be exact.

How are you doing?

How am I doing?

I'm doing great.

Normal things.

People are always like, so what's new in your life? Like, actually, pretty much nothing. My life kind of just was the same all the time. I just spend my life trying to entertain my kids and keep them off screens for as long as possible at any given day. But, you know, we're kind of gearing up for a trip coming up to Florida, which we're leaving this weekend, this upcoming weekend.

And we're going to be gone for five days.

Brandon's parents have a little house in Sarasota, Florida, which is about an hour south of Tampa.

And it'll be really fun.

We have done really almost no traveling with our kids at all.

A lot of it is because the time frame where we could have traveled with Evie on our lap

was COVID. It just feels like you really need a good reason to buy four plane tickets to go

somewhere, you know? So we've flown back to Wisconsin a couple of times with the kids.

Honestly, I can't think if my kids had been anywhere else on a plane other than Wisconsin miles when he was two went to Florida for my grandma's memorial service. But like, we really don't go places with the kids. And so this is their first, even though we're going to see family, this is their first kind of like beach trip. So it'll be really fun. They also have a pool since it's florida and so i think i don't know

they're on the gulf side i hear varying reports of water quality on the gulf in the gulf on the gulf side so we'll probably swim in the pool and then like play at the beach but also my kids are not like big swimmers either anyway so i'm looking forward to it hopefully i don't get too sunburned what about you I'm gearing up for Arizona, which I'm really excited about. So it's finally here. I leave on Wednesday.
