performance and someone has a solo in the middle. The whole band will keep playing, but you always

give a big applause to the soloist after their bit. There, the, there's no, there's all this,

we've built up all this ridiculous decorum in the world of going to

see a classical orchestra even just the idea of we're going to play a four movement beethoven symphony

they will shame you for clapping in between movements so it's like you will clap once in 40

minutes god help you if you like the parts in between or really God help.

In fact, to prove that point, I did a show once with the Colorado Symphony

where I brought in a bunch of music from composer colleagues at mine, you know,

to help make it a big menagerie of video game music.

And some, I can't remember who was, a composer buddy.

I think it was someone from Blizzard happened to know someone in the orchestra just by

coincidence.

And so we did, we did his music.

And he emailed me after because it just shows you how much a stick of the mud some

of these musicians can be, even though they can be so brilliant as performers.

But they just have this, they have this straight, they've, they've just gotten warped in what they think this is all about, in my opinion, because the person wrote to him and said, oh, the show was so annoying. The audience would not stop making noise and clapping and cheering. So he emailed me, he emailed me back and was like, I hear the show was so annoying.
